With so many style references from the 70s and eclectic prints styles, femininity and elegance seem have taken over the most important runways.

The palette of colors available for the warm seasons of 2011 is far from being restrictive. In fact, infusions of colors can be easily spotted on almost every important runway. From colorful floral and animal prints which are as popular as always, to the color blocking trend which encourages a more daring attitude when it comes to color combining, choosing the right colors is a must in order to be fashionable and stylish this season.

Unsurprisingly, bright, bold hues are dominant. Orange is one of the star colors of the season being spotted in several fashion collections. Carolina Herrera, BCBG Max Azria, Timo Weiland or Marc by Marc Jacobs are just some of the labels which have popularized this color, making it one of the hottest hues of the season. Similarly enchanting colors that are a hot choice this season are purple tones. Fashion houses such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Vena Cava, Proenza Schouler or Alberta Ferreti were the fashion houses that have adopted these conservative hues.

Subtle pink and fuchsia tones are other tones that were used to highlight the femininity of the summerish outfits even more.
